Many of you that purchased HRD 6.0 and are coming to the end of the first year of support have some options. You can continue to use HRD without getting any new features, but getting fixes to major bugs, and it won't cost you a dime. Simpler way to say it: If you like HRD version 6.1.4.189 and don't need anything more, you do not need to renew your support.
- Ham Radio Deluxe + keygen We originally began hosting Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) because we were huge fans of the program, and we noticed that it was only being hosted on a few other sites and we were concerned that those sites might go offline, effectively eliminating access to the program. We’ve been hosting HRD for a little over a year and a half as of this writing, and it’s been a fantastic experience being able to assist the Amateur Radio community in obtaining excellent software.We’ve.
- Ham CAP Ham CAP is a free HF propagation prediction tool for Amateur Radio. Audio Editor Deluxe Audio Editor Deluxe is an easy to use audio Editor & Recorder. MAGIX MP3 deluxe MAGIX MP3 deluxe is an all-in-one solution to manage your music.
Just carry on using it. If you are not using the latest release of version 6.1.4.189, you stand the chance HRD will stop working for you and tell you your license key is expired! Yup, that's contrary to what I just said above. This is because of a known bug in HRD version 6.0.
Ham Radio Deluxe contains the most complete radio listings. HRD provides packages included with your ROC for AEA / Timewave or Kantronics TNC. Ham Radio Deluxe allows you to connect to wireless devices via cable and control the device from your computer.
The ONLY fix for this is to upgrade away from the HRD 6.0 code. It is in your best interest to be running HRD 6.1.4.189 code. Many bugs have been fixed (especially the licensing bug) and has a few new features. You just need to download it and install it over your existing HRD application. The only suggested precaution is to backup your log file before you upgrade.
Now, if you want to continue to get HRD support, and new features, you will have to renew your support for $49.95 for one year. Renewal is always optional.
You may choose not to renew now, but as a new release comes out, you would like to at that time get back on the bandwagon. You may at any time.
Of course I recommend continuing support as the upcoming version has some really desirable features. Now, we have version 6.2 in Beta testing. It has some really nice new features including a complete re-write of the label printing code and the fix I've already discussed on the ICOM IC-9100 for satellites. There is planned work to be done on the Rotator application and the SatTracker. New modes will be added to DM-780 and we are working with authors of some of the newest modes to include their modes in DM-780 (one ends in 65 and another in a 9). Please don't ask specifics as I can't provide them (other than the SatTracker fix where I was allowed to let people know). So, upgrade your HRD to version 6.1.4.189 if you haven't to prevent future issues.
If you don't buy a support agreement and chose to stay with version 6.1.4.189, remember, after February 14th for many of you, you will not be able to get support to fix issues. Click to expand. So my question is. Will the HRD Team hold back releasing another version of HRD which could contain two modes ending with 65 and 9 until February? By doing so that could force many who waited patiently for the past 12 months for those modes to be added to DM-780 (After it was announced months ago that those modes would soon be added) which would force those who want those modes to pay the $49.95. I am sitting on the fence right now with regards to paying for continued support.
I may do so if those two new modes are included in DM-780. So I guess I will wait and see what shakes down in 2014.
