Lin, can you give us some more info on your computer system e.g CPU, Graphics, is XP up to date with SP3 etc. It's possible that your system can't handle the graphics required by GE.

I had problems initially with only having on-board graphics and had to update drivers before GE would perform properly. I wasn't using Chrome when I first installed it, so that shouldn't be the problem.

The file I downloaded is GoogleEarthCZXV.exe 7.36MB but that's an earlier version which would (should) update automatically once installed. If you need it, just let me know.
